We all want a new Jak & Dax game, some wanting it to be a Jak 4, some a prequel and some a reboot. Some don’t care what it is so long as there is a new Jak Game!
Whilst browsing the Jak & Dax tags a few times, it got me thinking. Some people wanna see a Human Dax again ( Personally, I do too ) and some people came up with their own ideas and theories, which got me thinking some ideas too.
Here’s my idea if you’re interested:
If there was going to be a Prequel, I would love to see how Gol and Maia came to be. By that I mean, what were they like before they let the dark eco get to them? Another possible question, would we see Keira’s mother? Or find out what happened to her?
I even had a gameplay idea that you play as Jak and Daxter ( Obviously ), exploring the Village, Jungle and Beach. Maybe getting into trouble? Maybe they could explore rock village and see what it was like before Klaww attacked the village. Perhaps, they could even visit the other sages before their kidnappings? Such as, do Tasks for them. ( Including Samos himself. ) Maybe we could know more about Jak’s uncle perhaps?
Another gameplay Idea I had is, when you do eventually get to misty island and the dark eco pool, rather than have the cutscene of Jak hitting the lurker and knocking into Daxter. That you instead get to battle the Lurker yourself and maybe keep Daxter from falling into the pool? ( But if you were to stick to the Precursor Legacy then, Daxter would, sadly, have to fall into the pool )
Heck, imagine still collecting precursor orbs and if you get to collect powercells, you could see Daxter do his dances in his human form ( I know some Daxter fans would love that *wink wink* )
So, that’s my idea IF it was going to be a prequel. I have no idea what a sequel would be like. But, if they did a reboot well, I can just see more items, quests, new moves, etc to be added.
Anywho, I’ve babbled enough. Lemme know what you guys think of my idea =) Hell, if you have any ideas of your own, Lemme hear em! I’m interested in reading them <3
